Pricing expectations & FAQs
Real-world NYC plumbing numbers so you know what “normal” pricing looks like before you book.
How our pricing works
- 1
You submit your job in under 60 seconds.
Leak, toilet, drain, or something weirder. Give us a quick description, photos, and your building details.
- 2
We text you a clear price range.
Based on NYC market rates and your building type, we show you a realistic range (including any service or emergency fees) before anyone comes out.
- 3
You approve. Then we dispatch.
You only move forward if the range and timing work for you. No pressure, no “the plumber will tell you on-site” surprises.
*These numbers are based on typical NYC ranges across multiple licensed plumbers. Large/complex jobs or strict building rules can increase costs.
Frequently asked questions
Pricing in NYC can feel like a black box. Our whole job is to make it predictable, written down, and agreed to in advance.
Are these prices exact?+ open
No — these are NYC ballpark ranges based on recent market data. Your actual quote depends on your building, access, parts, and when the job happens (weekday vs nights/weekends). We always text you a specific range before dispatching a plumber.
Do I pay you or the plumber?+ open
You pay through our platform. We handle the quote, secure payment, and pay the licensed plumber. That way you get one clean receipt and consistent expectations every time.
When do I see pricing?+ open
Right after you submit your job, we text you a clear price range and what’s included. For most standard jobs, you’ll see a range within minutes. You approve that before anyone rolls a truck.
What if the plumber finds a bigger issue?+ open
If something unexpected shows up (hidden damage, broken shutoff valves, etc.), you’ll get a revised quote before work continues. No surprise line items at the end of the job.
Do you charge an emergency fee?+ open
For true emergencies (active leaks, no water, sewage back-ups), there’s usually an additional emergency/after-hours fee. We’ll show it clearly in your quote so you can decide.
Can you work with my building’s super / COI rules?+ open
Yes. Most NYC buildings want a COI and specific scheduling windows. We work with licensed, insured plumbers and handle the paperwork and coordination with your super wherever possible.
